Another growler shop is spinning off into a brewery-restaurant: The owner of Greenpoint specialty brew store Brouwerij Lane tells DNAinfo that next year he will open a 6,000-square-foot complex that will be "one-third brewery and two-thirds beer hall." Raven says the as-yet-unnamed restaurant will seat 270, adding that head brewer Chris Prout will most likely brew a roster of custom "Belgian-style sours," "European hoppy IPAs," and saisons. Raven’s also thinking of naming the place "Dirk the Norseman" after an early Greenpoint settler, and we sure hope that sticks. [DNAinfo, Related]
