Exciting grocery news from M3’s Jason Owens: He aims to open a gourmet market, The Bees Knees, by Thanksgiving. In addition to wine, craft beer, meat, seafood, and produce, we’re told that the market will have the largest cheese selection in downtown Boston.

The market will even have its very own chocolatier: Jennifer Turner, who owns South Boston’s Blue Tierra Chocolates. It will also be the first market to offer JP’s Batch Ice Cream. We also hear that the market will hire a chef to do tastings, demos, and prepare to-go entrees for hungry Fort Pointers.

About time the neighborhood got a grocery store! As we noted before, look for it at 12 Farnsworth Street, near Flour.
