This Sunday at Beer Belly, L.A.’s foremost ale experts The Beer Chicks are holding a public book launch party for their new tome, The Naked Brewer: Fearless Homebrewing, Tips, Tricks & Rule-Breaking Recipes. From 6:00 to 9:00, Christina Perozzi and Hallie Beaune will sign books, hoist a few pints from the KTown pub’s taps, including their own recipe in collaboration with New Belgium and Elysian called “Trip 13 Honey Chamomile Blonde,” and greet guests while enjoying bites from chef Wes Lieberher. Evan Kleiman is coming at 7:00 P.M. to give her blessing over a dram or two while a portion of all proceeds are going to KCRW. The Chicks are also selling the book and their own beer kits through a new online brew shop, in case you can’t make it to this week’s release party. Sunday, October 21, 532 S Western Ave. Koreatown.
