Aziz Ansari Considers the Chick-fil-A Controversy

Aziz Ansari stopped by Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night and confirmed that he no longer gives his business to his once-beloved Chick-fil-A. But, despite the recent controversy, Ansari’s gay friend still does, and that got Ansari thinking: “That’s such an interesting commentary on America,” Aziz reflected, “that for some gay Americans, it’s harder to find a delicious chicken sandwich than it is to find equality.” The root of the whole controversy: The chain’s sandwiches are just so good, there are no other options for people who don’t agree with its politics.
