Cooking Channel and Food Network chef Aida Mollenkamp has a new book out for the beginner home cook called Keys to the Kitchen. It goes beyond just recipes to take you step by step through the shopping process, and teaches you some basic cooking skills, and tonight Aida will be hosting a book event at Hayes Valley Farm, for which there are still tickets. Your $50 price of admission includes a signed copy of the book (a $35 value), a tote bag, a cooking demo, a tour of the farm, as well as wine and nibbles and a chance to talk to the author herself.
