Stalwart, hygienic 16th Street taqueria Pancho Villa has taken to advertising on Muni busses recently, and their advertising team apparently decided to go with this bizarre mashup of a sexy stock-photo model rising out of a pile of pico de gallo. The tagline: “Because Flavor Still Matters.” (You can also see their topless mascot on their website.) We can think of a bunch more flavorful places to service your al pastor needs, but most of them can’t afford Muni ads. Also, it kind of reminds us of a 1970s cigarette ad, no?
