The owners behind Venice’s Piccolo restaurant are hinting at a new concept they’re brewing next to their Santa Monica outpost of Hostaria del Piccolo (which also has a new location coming to Venice’s Rose Avenue in the first week of October). Staying mum on any further details, the Piccolo group announces the coming of CiBOTECA on its website, which we can only guess at this point is an authentic Italian sandwich concept geared towards the seaside city’s booming lunchtime crowds. More to come as we attempt to break through the restaurant’s code of omerta.
