Frank Castronovo and Frank Falcinelli tell Esquire’s Eat Like a Man that they’ve been building out their next restaurant space, which will open in Red Hook. “We’re Frankin’ it,” Castronovo tells the blog with typical brand integrity aplomb, explaining how the pair handles all aspects of renovation, from laying down what will most likely be reclaimed floors to hooking up the kitchen sink.

The future of the duo’s recently closed Lower East Side pinxtos-and-sherry cocktails spot Francesca remains unclear, but in addition to this week’s Le Grand Fooding and the following weekend’s Octoberfest and the Red Hook space, the guys say “we’re pretty much ready to unveil a whole sausage program” at Prime Meats, which includes duck hot dogs, traditional dogs, and dry-aged bratwurst, all made in house.
