A Food Truck That Sells Groceries, Coming Soon to a Neighborhood Near You

Yes, it’s true! Say hi to Bell Tower Foods, a grocery truck launched this week by a team of entrepreneurial BU public-health graduates. The roving team aims to “restore traditional eating habits” (as in, no late-night kung pao chicken and 3 a.m. slime-sheets of pizza) by serving up fresh veggies, fruits, and so on to hungry neighborhoods. (You can visit their site and ask them to motor through your area, if you so desire.)

It’s been a busy food-truck week for BU; on Monday, we learned all about the school’s plans to launch an Asian-fusion food truck this fall. Could a roving bacon truck that roams pork-deprived neighborhoods be far behind?
