Top Chef-er Leah Cohen and the Fatty Crew are just about ready to open Pig and Khao in the former Falai space on Clinton Street. The new dÃ©cor, as you can see, does away with the former restaurant's sleek white look in favor of bold colors that complement the Southeast Asian food. Speaking of food, expect Thai- and Filipino-influenced sharable plates like grilled pork neck and watermelon salad; crispy garlic with sweet-and-sour liver dipping sauce; and crispy quail adobo with Szechuan peppercorn, coconut vinegar, and a soft-boiled quail egg. To drink: canned beer, "eclectic wines," and soju and wine cocktails. There will also be self-serve "all-you-can-drink" specials on tap. The spot will officially open to the public next Tuesday but, in the meantime, scope a few shots of the space, straight ahead.
