Speaking of awesome things not available to every customer: By special arrangement on Thursday nights, visitors to Di Fara can have the dingy, venerated Midwood pizza parlor all to themselves. Margaret De Marco tells Brooklyn Daily the pizza parlor arranges its dining room’s battle-worn tables to form a center “banquet” table during private parties, and while the $30 per person price tag is meant to cover half a pizza, her legendary, hall of famer father Dom “will continue to make pizzas until everyone is absolutely full.” The fee does not include drinks, appetizers, or dessert, just lots of pizza, including special varieties. “It’s kind of unlimited,” says Margaret De Marco, who runs the front of house. “We just keep bringing out different kinds of pies.” [Brooklyn Daily]
