Eater confirms this coming weekend’s soft opening of Company in the former Tao Cafe, a collaboration between owner Thuy Nguyen, front of the house manager Russell Morton (formerly of Plumpjack Group, Velvet Cantina), and Four Seasons chefs Karen Hoffmann and Jason Poindexter serving, you guessed it, Cal-Med cuisine. They plan to launch lunch on September 28, and dinner on October 9. Barrel-aged fortified wine cocktails, local craft beers on tap, and dishes like pappardelle with oxtail sugo are just a few things to expect.
