There’s more blowing up in the Jersey burbs than Terence Feury’s Tavro 13. Catelli Duo Osteria and Wine Bar, a reincarnation of the time-honored Catelli Ristorante that retired last year, opened yesterday in the Voorhees Town Center. The reboot keeps some of the charm created by the Catelii family over the years, but has dramatically changed the menu and service tunes to appeal more to today’s restaurant diners. The vibe’s been relaxed, and the price points lowered. Chef and partner Lou Imbesi’s new bill of goods includes old-school pasta dishes, brick oven pizzas, and more sophisticated fare, like speck-wrapped scallops and tuna crudo. The grilled lamb chop with sweet garlic bean puree and shallot jus sounds like something that’s worth a trip across the Delaware River.
