While we figure out what’s up with The Taste, here’s some concrete Bourdain TV news that just might get you through the end of the day: When the second season of The Layover With Anthony Bourdain premieres on November 19, the Travel Channel will get all 2.0 on expectant viewers by dropping an updated version of the show’s companion Layover Guide app. Tony’s picks, including restaurants and bars, will be added as the new season progresses through Atlanta to Tokyo and beyond. Rumor is version 3.0 will include an interactive insult button and an anecdote generator that will help allow you to tell stories about stoned cab drivers, cobra blood, and/or amputee call girls on the fly.
