Yesterday’s inclement weather hellacious rainfall put the kibosh on chef Scott Schroeder’s plan to showcase his pal and Southwark chef Nick Macri’s prize-winning bologna in the form of fried bologna sandwiches at his American Sardine Bar. Macri, Meal Ticket writes, took top honors at Cochon 555’s Heritage BBQ Bologna Contest with the magnificent tube meat. Schroeder sent word this afternoon that the rescheduled bologna bash is on today, starting at 4 p.m.
