Frisky Whiskey

Tie One On: 50 Shades of Grey Comes to Saloon

Naughty.
Naughty.

Do not adjust your screens. Apparently Davis Square’s finest Prohibition-era swill parlor will host a ladies-only “50 Shades of Whiskey” event designed to introduce the fairer sex to traditionally manly liquors like bourbon and rye. Grub received an e-mail stating that the event is “just for women who are interested in becoming more comfortable with the various brown liquors that tease them from behind the bar.” Saucy!

Saloon’s Manny Gonzales will lead the romp through various types of dark liquor (whiskey, bourbon, rye), and then transform the liquors into tasty cocktails, paired with small bites. Ladies, mark your calendars for October 17. And, until then, try to lay off the frozen margaritas. Get your ticket right here; cost is $35. Bonus: You won’t feel grossed out talking about it with your co-workers the next day.
