The new cider bar, Upcider, that we broke the news of in April is now open upstairs from Vertigo. It takes over the former Ozone Thai space, and as Tablehopper repots, co-owners Ozzie Gundogdu and Omer Cengiz have brought in a selection of hard ciders from around the world, including Astarbe cider from Basque country, which is aged in whiskey barrels; and some local brands as well, like Ace in Sebastopol. There’s a menu of bar food, like sliders, flatbreads, and share plates, and they’re going to be hosting live music events as well. [Tablehopper]
