Rosamunde Takes on Brooklyn

In other local business expansion news, and as originally reported by our New York colleagues, beloved local sausage proprietor Rosamunde will be opening up an additional location in Brooklyn later this month at 285 Bedford Avenue. The East Coast location, which will be similar to the Mission location, will feature a full bar with “fun sausagey cocktails” and New York-area made sausages and craft brews.

Brooklynites are already chomping at the bit with anticipation. Gothamist’s Josh Steele, who briefly lived in San Francisco, recommends the following:

I’d grab either the Hungarian on a french roll with hot peppers and onions or the Chicken Habenero with just onions then stroll next door [at Toronado] to pair it up with a Racer 5 or a Boont Amber Ale. Not too expensive and you definitely feel sated.

The new Oakland Rosamunde location, which has experienced permitting delays, will hopefully be opening in October.
