Nesh Grill, Yet Another Med Loop Spot, Opens Today

Along with Olive Mediterranean Grill, Roti and Med Kitchen and myriad others, the Loop is definitely not starved for spots specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. Seriously, do we really need another one? But Nesh Grill, the newest kid on the block, opens today. The brainchild of the brothers Kashkeesh, Nesh is the second outpost (after the Lincoln Park locale) of this popular Mediterranean eatery. The Loop location is twice as large as the original one in LP, to serve the massive amounts of hungry financiers and business magnates that live and work in the area, and its fast casual concept will appeal to Loop worker bees who are short on time. “We’re very excited to spread Nesh to the Loop area so more Chicagoans can enjoy authentic, fresh Mediterranean food at affordable prices,” said co-founder Rami Kashkeesh, who along with his brothers, have traveled to the Middle East and Mediterranean extensively to create the most genuine dining experience. Made-in-house flatbreads called shrock and pitas, along with an abundance of vegetable and spices on the menu, offer healthy and authentic eating options to time-pressed Chicagoans.
