Magpie Artisan Pie Bakery & Boutique, the pie shop that we’ve been telling you since February was going to open on the West side of South Street, is finally going to make its debut on Saturday. Owner Holly Ricciardi will offer a selection of sweet and savory pies by the slice at the homey, and cozy “nanna-chic” space. Whole pies will also be available, but must be ordered in advance. She’s opening with a lineup that will include three fruit pies, plum cherry almond, orange blossom peach raspberry, and buttery caramel apple; four custard pies, sour berry thyme custard, chocolate peanut butter mousse, lime custard with basil whipped cream, and butterscotch bourbon; and three savory selections, served with a side of pickled vegetables. Prices will range from $4.50 to $8.50 per slice, and $28 to $35 per whole pie.
