Not to be outdone by the new Oak Long Bar + Kitchen at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, the luxe Langham sends word that they’ll soon open a champagne lounge called the Reserve. Executive chef Mark Sapienza calls it a “haven for our guests to sip, savor, and socialize.” Sultry! Also on offer: “timeless” British fare and “exotic” tea blends.
Other high-class nibbles include smoked maple-cured salmon and deviled eggs, Maine lobster salad sliders, croque monsieur, frozen Key Lime soufflé and flourless manjari chocolate cake. Veddy proper indeed! The Reserve should open around Labor Day weekend.
