Brown, bagging it

Governor Jerry Brown was in L.A. this week, taking a detour to Echo Park to lay his hands on a machaca burrito at the original Burrito King at Sunset and Alvarado. According to The Eastsider L.A., Brown lived in Echo Park in the seventies and this was his favorite place to go for Mex in Taco Town (you know these San Franciscans and their burrito bonds). We’re just glad to see the man is doing his part to balance the budget over four-dollar burritos and not a $175 steak. [ESLA]
