Get Out Your Wallet and Make It Rain on Harvest Moon Farms

The thing about “farm-to-table” fare is that farms are a key ingredient. Jenny and Bob Borchardt of Harvest Moon Farms are struggling with the drought, and their heirloom tomato crop is being threatened. Their produce has supplied grocery stores and individuals, but it’s been difficult to keep up with the pace. Amazing organizations such as Uncommon Ground, David Burke’s Primehouse, Sheffield’s BBQ, Green Grocer, the Metro, Goose Island and others have stepped up and to produce events that benefit Harvest Moon this month. Straight ahead are a few of the ways that you can philanthropically make it rain, monetarily speaking, on the Borchardt’s crops.

What: The Last Drought Benefit concert featuring Mr. Blotto
Where: The Metro, 3730 N Clark, purchase here.
