The Field House, that bar beneath the Reading Terminal Headhouse train shed that you probably never go to, is closed. But don’t freak out. It’s only temporary. The sprawling space is undergoing a major makeover that will see just about everything ripped out and replaced. The Insider reports that the project is supposed to be wrapped up, and the Field House re-opened by Labor Day. The new look? It will reportedly be a lot like the old look — sports bar fabulous. But changes will bring a more localized scheme, with Philly-centric menu items, and 40 beers on tap, most of which will come from breweries located within 100 miles of the city. [Insider]
