OG divey go-go bar the Dolphin Tavern is closed. Eater reports the owners have a mountain of troubles, and while they’re not saying exactly what they are, they’ve made it known that only a quick cash infusion will help them get things worked out. The bar, which touts itself as the city’s oldest go-go venue, dates back to the fifties, and like its nearest neighbor, the soon to be rebooted Boot & Saddle, the Dolphin’s heyday passed with the closing of the Navy Yard back in 1995.
