Next Saturday, July 28, ForYourArt** will present its own pop-up market of L.A.-crafted, small-batch independent edibles called “New. Artisanal. Now,” described as a one-day food biennial coinciding with The Hammer Museum’s Made in L.A. art biennial. Whittled down from a long list of hundreds by local food trend-setters Shawna Dawson, Krista Simmons, and Michaele Musel, there will be twelve craftspeople offering their wares on sales, alongside The Greenbar Collective, which provide the drinks (trust us, we’ve seen how much help alcohol can offer when art and food collide). Producers include Le Bon Garcon’s caramels, ice cream from Peddler’s Creamery, Morning Glory Confections, Orgasmo de la Boca’s smoked olives, and a bacon and date spread from De Vamore. See the full list of featured food artists, below, and cop full details online.
