Spice Table chef Bryant Ng writes Grub Street to announce last night’s introduction of happy hour at his lauded Downtown restaurant. From 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday, the chef will offer five dollar beer cocktails, prosecco, wine, and a twelve-ounce pour of “the beer of the day,” while off-menu Tiger beer will be priced at just two dollars. Edible items include a satay of the day for five bucks, as well as fried cauliflower with fish sauce for the same price, plus french fries with curry dipping sauce for $3.50 and shrimp chips for one-dollar. Satay with a beer cocktail for a ten-spot? Now that outta make you happy.
