Preview Williamsburg’s Vegan Ethiopian Restaurant This Weekend

Bunna Cafe is name of the vegan Ethiopian restaurant that Sam Saverance plans on opening, with partners Liyuw Ayalew and chef Chuny Ali, late this year in Williamsburg. It’s also the name of the buzzed about series of pop-up dinners the team has held at private locations in and around Bushwick this summer. Those who love traditional Ethiopian food and drink, but who may be averse to the secret handshakes and code words integral to the underground mealtimes, may be happy to know that Bunna Cafe will set up shop this Sunday at the West Cafe and Bar in Bushwick. Dinner starts as low as $6. Beer, wine, and sangria will also be available. Check out the full menu here. [The Discerning Brute]
