Little Chihuahua Coming to Valencia; Bocazote Coming to Cole Valley

Mission: The Little Chihuahua, the Mexican spot with two locations currently on Divisadero and in Noe Valley, is expanding with a third location at 581 Valencia Street. They’re taking the space occupied now by Urbun Burger, and planning to be open by November. [Eater]
FiDi: Longtime chef-owner Dan Scherotter has sold Palio d’Asti (640 Sacramento Street) to his 29-year-old GM Martino DiGrande, and brothers Jose Alberto Martinez and Mauricio Martinez, who have worked there since the nineties, have been promoted to co-chefs de cuisine. [Scoop]
Cole Valley: The new expansion of Mamacita going into the former Eos space just got its new new name (after that Papazote business fell through): It’s Bocazote, which means “big mouth.” [Eater]
