This Saturday, Wirtshaus on La Brea will hold a party to celebrate its first year in business. The authentic German restaurant will have live music, and get this, free beer, two words so moving they nearly break our hearts. The restaurant will tap a ceremonial keg at 3:00 P.M. and allow every seated guest who purchases an entree to drink for free until said keg runs dry. The restaurant will also be showing the Olympics, has new DJ nights every Wednesday, and ping pong tournaments on Thursday, even though they had us at “free beer.”
