Cornelius Gallagher Out at Dragonfly

That was fast: Cornelius Gallagher opened Dragonfly on the Upper East Side back in April, but Flo Fab says that the chef is now out, having left the kitchen and “relinquished his partnership arrangement.” The reason for the sudden split? One of the restaurant’s owners says, “I think this platform may have been too small for Neal.” Scott Gery, the former chef de cuisine, has been promoted to executive chef. [Diner’s Journal/NYT]
