Trophy Bikes ‘Coasts’ Through Beer Week

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that many of Philly’s beer nerds are also bike dorks. The gigantic bike stall in front of Morgan’s Pier and the gaggle of locked-up fixies that flank the stretch of Passyunk Ave. across from the P.O.P.E. every weekend are proof enough of this symbiotic relationship. For Beer Week, Trophy Bikes is driving this point home with a coaster campaign. More than 25 bars and pubs participating in Beer Week shenanigans this week will sport the Seat Saver coasters, the genius bar-top protectors that also serve as a reminder to other bar patrons that your stool is spoken for when you get up to use the restroom, catch a quick smoke outside or rock a couple of choice numbers on the jukebox. And in addition to saving barstools, the coasters can save cyclists some coinage too.

Each of the 25,000 coasters in circulation this week feature a special web url on their back that will lead cyclists who enjoy beer to a webpage that offers a variety of Beer Week discounts on bikes, service and accessories at both of Trophy Bikes’ locations. Check below for a list of participating bars and restaurants.
