The Little Door, West Third Street’s sixteen-year-old restaurant famous for amorous ambiance, French-accented cooking, and a pronounced wine list, will add liquor to the lineup starting July 11. Frederic and Nicolas Meschin are opening the first full bar in the restaurant’s history and must have seen all the ink spilled on cocktails in the past few years, as they’re upping the ante with vintage spirits and farm-to-glass cocktails, priced from fourteen to sixteen dollars and including ingredients like rhubarb puree and fresh basil in drinks overseen by chef T. Nicholas Peter.

In addition, The Little Door will announce the winner of a cocktail contest this Wednesday, wherein one of the restaurant’s Facebook fans who submitted a cocktail recipe will be picked as the winner of $200 in credit and also find their own drink on the bar menu.

July 11 will also mark the start of Little Door’s “Pink Week” where discounts abound on rosé and a portion of the proceeds go to fight pediatric cancer through The Pablove Foundation.
