First Look at Rosemary’s, Now Serving Rooftop Farm–to-Table in the Village

Italophiles, take note.

It’s the time of year to eat fresh from the garden, and Rosemary’s, which just opened in Greenwich Village, wants to serve you Italian food straight from its rooftop farm. The restaurant comes from Carlos Suarez of Bobo, and Wade Moises (Lupa, Babbo) is behind the stove. The corner space has a sprawling open-air feel (aided by strings of lights and windows that can be flung open in warmer times), and the wine list is fittingly laissez-faire, with every bottle going for $40 and every glass for $10. Food roves casually from small plates of veggies, seafood, or signature foccacia to simple pastas and mains. It’s dinner only for now, with breakfast and lunch coming up.
