The Daily News learns about a web series called Culinary High TV, where New York high school students are selected to learn cooking skills. The producer is evidently in talks for a small-screen deal with food or travel channels; meantime, you can check out season three, which debuts Friday online. In it, the four students will head to BLT Fish to learn soft-shell-crab technique and up to Harlem to cook with Marcus Samuelsson at Red Rooster. Sounds like maybe they should team up with those kids at the Food & Finance High School. Also, if food is the new rock, then we guess Culinary High TV is the new Rock ‘n’ Roll High School. [NYDN]
