Pride Week Rainbow Cupcakes at Magnolia; Penrose Now Open on the UES

•On July 21, a weenie war will be waged: 24 teams will compete for the title of Top Dog and the most delicious hot dog at this fund-raiser at 630 Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn for the NYC Food Bank. •The only thing sweeter than eating goodies from Momofuku Milk Bar, Minetta Tavern, and NoMad is eating them as part of a fund-raiser for pediatric cancer research and treatment. Zito's Sandwich Shoppe North soft-opened today in North Park Slope. The new outpost has all the sammie goodness of the original plus those fried ravioli, rice balls and meatball sliders. [Eater NY]
