Namu Gaji, Flour + Water, Beast & Hare Join Up for Noisette Food and Music Festival

We don’t have summer here the way they have summer in New York. But we do like to hope for the best and, if all else fails, put on a light sweater, spark up the BBQ, and pretend. With that in mind, the kids at Noise Pop have joined forces with NYC’s Finger on the Pulse to throw the first annual Noisette on August 4. It’s a food and music fest modeled on last year’s Summer BBQ Blow Out Festival in New York, and participating chefs for Noisette will include Dennis Lee of Namu Gaji, Adam Dulye of Monk’s Kettle, Jason Fox of Commonwealth, Ian Marks of Beast and the Hare, and Ryan Pollnow of Flour + Water.

The party will take place at the Speakeasy Brewery in the Bayview, and will feature DJs, indie bands, and plenty of good eats. Other participating chefs are Blair Warsham of graffEats, Arthur Wall of Garcon, and Mike Silvera of Bar Crudo. Confirmed musical talent so far includes the Dodos, Taken by Trees, and Pillowfight featuring Dan the Automator. Purchase early bird tickets here, starting at $50. That price will go up to $60, and VIP tickets, which include early entry, will go for $85.

Also, the Bayview and the Bay side of the city in general is a little warmer, and less foggy, in August…

The video below, courtesy of Finger On the Pulse, shows the scene at the New York party last year, which was, we should mention, co-sponsored by our mothership, New York Magazine.
