What were we saying about the Mission restaurant boom? Yet another space is turning over, as Tablehopper reports, and it’s the chronically empty NY Buffalo Wings space at 665 Valencia Street (at 17th). We noted the place was for sale almost a year ago, and now former Slow Club chef Sante Salvoni has scooped it up to open MAU (Modern Asian Urban). You can look forward to Southeast Asian flavors and a bunch of rice bowls and noodle dishes all under $15. They’re aiming for mid-July, but stay tuned — that could always shift. [Tablehopper]
