Lou Amdur, who recently sold his ground-breaking Hollywood wine bar, Lou, last spring, will pop-up in his newly liberated state this Thursday, June 21, at 7:00 P.M., at Sotto, reps for the restaurant announce. Amdur will be hosting a one-night wine tasting on the Pico Italian’s patio with a dip into natural Italian wines (such as COS, Occipinti, and Cornelisse), that includes table-side notes from Amdur, with help from Sotto’s own in-house wine pros, Jeremy Parzen and Rory Harrington, as well as some diminutive dishes coming from chefs Steve Samson and Zach Pollack. Reservations for the $40 tasting can be acquired by emailing the restaurant.
