It’s been a couple of months since we had an update about the new Argentinian-influenced concept from Adriano Paganini and the Beretta team that will be taking over the former Medjool (2522 Mission). But today, Tablehopper spotted a Craiglist posting that provides the most updated info to date, including the name: Lolinda. The concept as of now is “simple and sustainable cooking with a Latin-fired twist” with “influences from Argentina, Spain, and regions of South America.” Also, the centerpiece of the restaurant will be a wood-fired grill featuring “a thoughtful selection of from-small-to-not-so-small steaks.” And, of course, there should be some decent cocktails. This is the largest project to date from restaurateur Paganini (who also co-owns Starbelly, Super Duper and Delarosa), with a whopping 250 seats in the restaurant and another 150 more possible on the famed roof deck. The ETA as of now is early August. [Tablehopper, Earlier]
