A new lawsuit against the makers of Top Chef wants Bravo Media to pack its knives and go. (Do they still say that on the show?) An Austin-based company called DietGoal filed an infringement claim in Texas federal court earlier this week, asserting that the organized index of recipes from all Top Chef episodes violates their proprietary database “system and method for computerized visual behavior analysis, training, and planning.” In other words, the company claims Bravo ripped off its secret recipe-searching and meal-planning tech. DietGoal is looking for Bravo to pay damages and attorney’s fees.[Hollywood Reporter]
