Kin Shop Hosts Riesling Dinner; National Lobster Day Festivals

• Park Slope’s Palo Santo will host a wine and tapas party on June 28. New York state wines will be paired with tapas made with local and homegrown ingredients. Guests will also get to meet winemaker Barbara Frank of Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars in the Finger Lakes. [Grub Street]

Mitsuwa Marketplace will host the seventh annual “Umaimono Gourmet Food Fair” from June 21 to 24. Renowned Japanese chefs will fly in for the festival to prepare authentic dishes for guests to enjoy at the store’s Edgewater, New Jersey location. Tickets for Cooking Light’s first-ever tasting event, “Light Up the Night” are on sale starting today. The event, complete with an all-star lineup of celebrity chefs and mixologists will take place on September 21 on the Chelsea Market Passage of the High Line. [Grub Street]

• Chef Marco Canora will serve a special lobster roll at Terroir at the Porch, in honor of National Lobster Roll Day. For $24, the roll will feature Maine hard-shell lobsters on a Sullivan Street Bakery stecca roll, spread with a garlic, celery seed, and lemon aioli spread. [Grub Street]

Ed’s Lobster Bar Annexwill also be hosting lobster festivities with a mega Lobster Fest. Guests will have the chance to sample lobster tacos, sliders, or ravioli, to name a few preparations. • Wednesday, June 27, Tasting Table and Mastercard Priceless New York will team up to host a midsummer night’s feast.
