You’ll recall that Caribbean-born chef Sarah Kirnon left Hibiscus earlier this year in order to open her downtown Oakland restaurant, Miss Ollie’s, which is now set to open in early fall. Hibiscus then announced a new chef hire in March, but that guy didn’t work out. Now, they’ve got a new chef de cuisine on board, as Eater reports, 27-year-old Devin Gonzalez. The new menu, which is less Caribbean and more Southern, is here for your perusal. Also, they just started doing Sunday brunch. That is all. [Eater]
