Sean Baker of Berkeley’s Gather, who was Esquire Magazine’s “Chef of the Year 2010,” is set to host a Biodynamic Roundtable at David Brower Center (2150 Allston Way, Berkeley) on July 12th. Baker will be pairing six special small plates with two white, and four red, top-shelf biodynamic wines from Napa Valley’s Ehlers and Grgich Hills Estates, followed by a biodynamically produced Marian Farms brandy after the tasting.
During the pouring, the winemakers will discuss how biodynamics have been used in their production as Chef Baker describes his pairings. There will also be a more in-depth Q&A; afterward.
