Chipotle will be donating all its proceeds from all 83 Chicagoland stores, up to $20,000, this weekend to the Green City Market. Besides a nice big check, we’re sure this will help raise awareness of the market among people who maybe don’t know about it (but know enough to know that Chipotle is better than your usual fast food in terms of naturally-raised meats and supporting farmers. It’s the first of several events in which Chipotle and Green City Market will partner this summer; Chipotle is participating in Green City Market’s Annual Chef’s Barbecue Fundraiser in July, and will also have a frequent presence at the market through September.
