Corey Lee, David Chang to Do Supper Clubs In Sonoma

Benu chef Corey Lee, who was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs for 2012 and recently deemed a member of the “A-Funk Collective” of Asian-American chefs by Josh Ozersky, is doing a rare off-site guest-chef event on September 2 at Copain Wines in the Russian River Valley, as part of their Supper Club Series. Then, in December, David Chang (who called Benu “the best restaurant in America” last year) will also be doing a dinner there. Seating for both is limited, but tickets are not quite on sale yet — the winery is awaiting menus and exact pricing from the chefs, but it will be in the $400-per-person range.
