What to Eat at Brasserie S&P, Officially Opening June 18

The new month brings some new openings, and one of the bigger changeovers in town is happening at the Mandarin Oriental where twenty-five-year-old Silks has closed to make way for Brasserie S&P;. The name, as we discussed last month, points to the cross-streets of the hotel: Sansome and Pine. We have the menus for you today from new chef Adam Mali, but please note that the previously announced opening date of this week isn’t official-official — the real opening date is now in two weeks, on June 18, however it sounds like they will be in soft-open mode before that to accommodate hotel guests.

Below, the new menus for the ground-floor brasserie, off the hotel lobby, which features things like house-cured bresaola in the “share” section, farro spaghetti “vongole,” and a 28-day dry-aged New York steak from Lucky Dog Farms.
