The Soho corner that housed South Houston is becoming an Italian restaurant called Angolo, which fittingly means “corner” in that language. Grub stopped by and spoke with co-owner Emilio Bagnoli, a Tuscan native, who tells us the food will hail from that region and from Rome, with a focus on wine-friendly fare. Expect an August opening if things go as planned.
