Brewers Bash at Brooklyn Brewery Tonight; Nolita House to Close After Eight Years

• Summertime nightclubgoers will be thrilled to hear that the Bowery’s Bantam is adding a new 1,000-square-foot outdoor lounge just in time for the warm weather. The new addition will be called “The Patio,” and is slated to open next Thursday. [Bowery Boogie]

• Neighborhood staple Nolita House will shutter on May 31 after hosting a farewell party for itself this Thursday. The close ends the restaurant’s eight-year lifespan, but its owners are hoping to open up shop elsewhere. [Eater]

61 Local and Red Hook Winery have teamed up to bring you a summertime bike tour of some of the city’s finest artisan eateries and distributors. • Join the New York City Brewers Guild (NYCBG) tonight for the Founders Bash: Unique & Obscure Beers from the Founding Brewers, a celebration of NYCBG officially taking over as the new leadership for New York Craft Beer Week.
