According to Thrillist Michael Schlow’s Happy’s Bar and Kitchen is set to open tomorrow. The restaurant had a soft opening this past weekend according to Hidden Boston. Thrillist is featuring a series of first looks of the Fenway restaurant’s bright and colorful industrial space with tin ceilings. Of note are the graffiti walls by bodega, a chandelier made out of old tea cups and silver spoons, and a bar wall of hammer bottle caps.
The menu will feature modern American cuisine with a penchant for creative takes on the standard diner and deli meal. Thrillist describes the menu as “breakfast-thru-dinner eats like hot pastrami and Swiss on rye, a rotating lineup of never-been-frozen TV dinners, daily blue plates.” But don’t forget the booze-spiked milkshakes. Or should we call them booze frappes?
